The Abuse and Neglect Task Force of WV Public Defender Services will be holding a training about Gibson Funds on February 21st, 2025 at 1:30 PM via Zoom. Registration is required and will be open until February 20th at 4:00 PM (see below for more information).
In West Virginia, Gibson Funds reimburse relatives for reunification services related to child abuse and neglect. This can include transportation for visits with the child's biological parents. This training will go over everything that you need to know in order to properly utilize these funds in your cases.
