Please join Dana Eddy from Public Defender Services for the presentation, "Public Defender Services and Court-appointed Counsel: We are not alone," immediately following the Regional Meetings. This complimentary session is scheduled from 1:30 – 3:30 PM and offers valuable insights for court-appointed counsel.
A recent survey of court-appointed counsel reveals that PDS' resources such as motion banks, jury instructions, and a database of experts are unknown to court-appointed counsel. Court-appointed counsel are also unaware that PDS offers attorney assistance on issue development, trial strategies, and research.
This two hour CLE identifies PDS' resources for court-appointed counsel. Also, PDS will announce its project to create regional points of contact to connect court-appointed counsel to services of investigators, experts, social workers, and other professionals. Finally, PDS will answer any questions that counsel might have about the administrative processes governing billing.

This CLE will qualify for 2.4 CLE Credit Hours, Including 2.4 in Ethics.
