This Monday, Public Defender Services welcomed its second legal intern for summer 2025, Nikita Patel! Nikita will be a second year law student this fall at West Virginia University College of Law; during her time at PDS she will be working on a variety of legal and policy-related assignments, including assisting with research projects and drafting materials. She is excited to contribute to the important work of the Public Defender Services and learn from the dedicated attorneys and staff! After graduating law school, she hopes to continue to work in public interest law.
